Bio

Jon Miller is a championship winning driver, coach and manager with two decades of experience in professional sports car racing. After a brief introduction to motorsports in karting, he began racing in the Skip Barber Formula Dodge series in 2003. Jon earned victories at Lime Rock Park, Barber Motorsports Park, Moroso (PBIR) and Sebring International Raceway in his first year of racing. After two seasons cutting his teeth in the formula car ranks, Jon refocused on GT and Touring Car racing, working towards competing at the 24 hours of Daytona and Le Mans. In 2006, while finishing a Political Science degree at The University of Central Florida, Jon made his debut in the Grand Am Cup (IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge), where he has been a familiar face and no stranger to the podium.

Jon won the 2019 SRO America GT4 SprintX Championship driving a BMW M4 GT4 for ST Racing. He is a regular competitor in IMSA, SRO America, the VLN championship and Nurburgring 24hr and the Creventic 24H Endurance Championship. In 2019, Jon also won the COTA 24HR race in a BMW M4 GT4 with RHC Jorgensen/Strom Motorsports and in 2021 he continued his endurance racing success by winning the Dubai 24 hours, the Abu Dhabi 6 hours and the Barcelona 24 hour races en route to an overall Creventic 24H GT championship. Jon continues to compete at the highest levels, pursuing his goal of winning championships and the world's major endurance races.

Originally from South Florida, Jon graduated from the University of Central Florida and now resides in Orange County, California with his wife and two sons.

He has competed and instructed at most racetracks in North America, and can provide unique insights on how to find speed at a new venue or your home track. Jon's clients consistently achieve their goals and break through to the next level with their racing.


Data and Video Analysis

AIM, Motec, VBOX and other systems can provide an overwhelming amount of data about your driving. It’s important to focus and interpret the relevant pieces of that data quickly and in a way that is straightforward to understand. Combining data with video is one of the most powerful learning tools when combined with the experienced analysis that Jon can provide.

Car setup is more important than ever. The reliability of modern homologated racecars means that advantages are often found in the fine print - the setup. Jon is experienced in understanding and translating how feedback from driving the car assists team engineers to optimize chassis setups.

Race programming and driver management

Through Jon’s extensive relationships with race teams in the US and abroad, he can structure and execute a plan for your racing goals at any level. He also has extensive experience in Europe, including at the Nurburgring. Jon can guide you through licensing processes, arrange a car for you to drive and coach you to maximize safety, fun and performance.

Co-Driving

In endurance racing, where more than one driver is required, your results depend on your performance as well as your teammates. The best way to accelerate your learning curve and increase your chances of good results is to co-drive with an experienced and successful professional.
